THE SUBJECT AND THE REAL (AN ATT EMPT TO SAVE CART ESIAN SUBJECT FROM IRR ATIONALITY)

Abstract

The article considers the subject position in the field of Lacan’s triad of The Real-The Imaginary-The symbolic. The author makes an attempt to remove the subject from the influence of the Real, returning him his Cartesian principles and power over himself (paraphrasing Z. Freud: making I the host in my own house). The article also breaks the monotony of the mystery aura which surrounds Lakan’s Real and to damp Lakan’s spirits a little.
