EURASIANISTS’ IDEAS ABOUT THE NATIONAL AND STATE ORGANIZATION OF RUSSIA

Abstract

Introduction. The article examines various aspects of the philosophy of Eurasianism. The author pays attention to the issues of Russia’s national and state organisation, and identifies the main ideas of the leading representatives of Eurasianism. It is proved that in the philosophy of Eurasianism, aspects of culture and religion development are closely interconnected with the issues of the state organization of Russia. The ideological views of the Eurasians are currently the object of historical, cultural and political analysis, which is associated with strengthening the national factor in the development of Russia’s original path. The purpose of the study is to analyze the viewpoints of the main representatives of the Eurasian trend on the problems of the national and state organization of Russia followed by a subsequent analysis of the works of prominent researchers of the concept of Eurasianism. Methods. When writing the article, the author uses the works of representatives of Eurasianism, on the basis of which it is possible to judge the ideological component of this philosophical movement. The following methods were used: comparativehistorical and system-structural, as well as general theoretical methods of scientific research. Scientific novelty of the study. As a result of the research, the author identifies foundations of the ideology of Eurasianism, and considers conceptual ideas related to the development of Russia and its socio-cultural renewal. Attention is paid to the analysis of the socio-political views of the representatives of Eurasianism. Results. As a result of the analysis of the main ideas of the Eurasians, the need for further analysis of their works was proven, taking into account a critical assessment of their achievements and errors. Eurasianism is considered an original philosophical movement that needs to adapt its ideas to the modern geopolitical situation in the world. The ideas of the representatives of Eurasianism will help to take a new look at the history of Russia, to identify the features of its original path and place in the world system of states.
