TOPICAL ISSUES OF RUSSIAN-EUROPEAN RELATIONS AT THE CONTEMPORARY STAGE

Abstract

The article describes the contemporary state of relations between Russia and the European Union. The paper outlines the main issues of Russian.European relations. The author addresses issues of signing a new Treaty on European Security and the abolition of the visa system between Russia and the EU. Much attention is paid to the Russian military operation in Georgia within the context of relations between Moscow and Brussels.
