Abstract

The article dwells on the process of integrated plant #817 (PA Mayak) expansion in production of plutonium and tritium for nuclear and thermonuclear weapon. It shows the reasons for concentration of all types of nuclear and thermonuclear charges production on the confined territory of the only in the 1948-1950s plant of the given industry.
