SOCIETY AND AUTHORITY IN THE LIGHT OF SOCIAL FEARS

Abstract

The article considers the problem of social fears as a mechanism of social regulation and a tool of winning, strengthening and maintaining power, manipulating social consciousness. Various aspects of the regulatory function of social fears are shown alongside strategies to overcome them, characteristic of various social groups.
