Abstract

The article looks at practical activities in implementation of the state policy with regard to social rehabilitation of the disabled in a single region in historical retrospective. The author reveals the negative impact of the reduction of funding as part of «monetization of benefits»; emphasizes the significant discrepancy between the proclaimed principles and the actual situation in this sphere.
