Abstract

The article shows a strong connection between economic cycles in 1953-2012 and cycles of the intensity of galactic cosmic rays. All extremum points of the intensity curve of galactic cosmic rays coincide in time with the financial and economic crises. The author reveals the physical mechanism of this connection.
