ONCE AGAIN ON THE SO-CALLED NEW CHRONOLOGY

Abstract

The article analyzes the widely acclaimed so-called “new chronology” of A.T. Fomenko and G.V. Nosovsky in which global and national history is presented in a completely new and even extravagant form. The author shows the social conditions and the logical basis of the concept of Fomenko-Nosovsky, the possible social consequences of its adoption in the public mind, and identifies the possible use of the concept in historical science.
