HISTORICAL MATERIALISM IN THE "DIGITAL FORMAT" (COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INTELLECTUAL CONCEPTIONS AND TRENDS OF SOCIAL-POLITICAL SCIENCES IN RELATION TO ATTEMPTS TO UNDERSTAND MODERNIZATION TENDENCIES)

Abstract

The paper submits a simple discrete mathematical model of a formal axiological aspect of the historical materialism interpreted in a wide meaning of the term. “History” and “substance” are precisely defined and systematically investigated as value functions determined by value variables in double-valued algebra of formal axiology. In this algebra, formal axiological equivalence relation is defined precisely, and a list of equations is generated. This equation list induces interconnections of the value functions “history” and “substance” in the historical materialism.
