Abstract

Kuibyshev area is taken as an example to analyze the duties of representatives of Council for Russian Orthodox Church affairs at Council of People’s Comissars/ Council of Ministers of the USSR. The most striking examples from the practice of the representatives who were consistently holding this post are given in this article.
