NATIONWIDE RELIGIOUS UNIFYING IDEA: DECLARATIONS AND REALITY

Abstract

The article deals with the relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the state on the problems of peace and harmony keeping in the country, on the significance of religious ideas in the life of society and the country. The author makes a conclusion that not only the religious theory and practice helps to unite the citizens of multiconfessional Russia but also the unified cultural and political tradition, based on the obligatory observation of laws and developed institutions of the civil society.
