REMONSTARTIVITY AND SOLIDARITY IN EDUCATION

Abstract

Is there any place for remonstartivity in education? Is it possible to form solidarity in education and what kind? Education being implemented in the “system of education” is usually associated with conformism. What can this association be connected with? With the nature of education as a phenomenon of social institution, providing state and society reproduction and for the sake of that being knitted to the “conformative”, “adaptive” function assigned to it? With the social role and self-consciousness of teachers as keepers, guardians and propagators of traditions? Isn’t conformity as awareness of belonging to the majority a way to achieve solidarity and isn’t it justified ethically as a social mission of education?! These questions are answered in this article which touches upon problems of comprehending educational socialization, “hidden programs”, possibilities of using youth movements for socialization, types of teachers’ sociality, role of “sacramental NO” in content, methods of education.
