COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF REGIONS ON LEVEL OF BRANCHES OF SPECIALIZATION DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article represents an approach to regions assessment on their specialization sectors development level. The technique of an assessment is based on dynamics analysis of Gross regional product (GRP) portion in specialization sector of regional GRP in general and on dynamics analysis of investments portion of specialization sector in total investments in regional economic activities. The authors use scored assessment system in the analyses of the two points. Integration of the results of the analysis allows compare regions on their specialization sectors development level.
