TEXT AS THE FACTOR OF SOCIAL REVOLUTION: LINGUISTIC CULTURE AND VALUE SELECTION

Abstract

The article deals with linguistic and philosophic comprehension of a text as a factor of social evolution. The author's definition of linguistic culture as a peak of social evolution, a supreme form of verbal and intellectual activity on preserving, transferring and synthesizing socio-cultural experience are presented. Text is considered as a means of embodying and representing linguistic culture, forming and reducing this experience.
