THE DIALECTICAL LAW OF INTERPENETRATION OF OPPOSITES AND ITS REPRESENTATION IN THE ALGEBRAIC SYSTEM OF FORMAL AXIOLOGY

Abstract

The paper submits investigating a precise formulation of the dialectical law of interpenetration of opposites which was considered by Engels as the main law of dialectics. As exemplified by the material of history of philosophy it is demonstrated that (approximately) in the middle of XX century the main law of dialectics was labeled «the law of unity and struggle of opposites». For the first time in the world literature a discrete mathematical model of the law of interpenetration of opposites is compared with a discrete mathematical model of the law of unity of opposites. Moreover, for the first time in the world literature, a formal-axiological equivalence of the two laws and hence their mutual interchangeability in the formal-axiological relation (but not in general) is proved by «computing» corresponding evaluationtables in two-valued algebraic system of formal-axiology.
