ETHNIC AND RELIGIOUS SITUATION IN THE SOUTH URALS: IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIO-CULTURAL PROCESSES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of processes in the Chelyabinsk region at the ethnic and religious aspect. Search is held with support of Russian Humanitarian Scientific Fund within scientific and research project “Socio-Cultural Portrait of the Chelyabinsk Region: regional community in time and space”# 14-03-00486. The author states results of sociological surveys in Chelyabinsk region (2011 and 2014 years), based on methods of the Centre of socio-cultural changes research of Philosophic Institute of Russian Science Academy “Socio-Cultural Portrait of a Region”.
