Abstract

The basic consumer preferences in the formation of the nutrition structure of the working population are examined in the article. Based on the conducted sociological research it is concluded that there were prerequisites in consumer behavior for efficient import substitution of basic foodstuffs. The direct relationship of consumer preferences, the structure of supply and reproduction of labor potential is disclosed.
