NATIONAL MILITARY SECURITY: CONCEPTUAL BASES AND CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN VISION

Abstract

This article examines the conceptual foundations of the military security of the state as a necessary component of its political strategy. The genesis of the Russian vision of these problems in the post-Soviet period, rethinking the content of the concepts of “national security”, “military security” and the changing priorities of their maintenance are analyzed. Some methodological approaches in determining the strategy of the military security of the Russian Federation are formulated.
