THE QUALITY OF LIFE AS AN INDICATOR OF ETHNO- SOCIAL PROCESSES (ON MATERIALS OF ARCTIC YAKUTIA)

Abstract

The article is based on the results of expeditions to the Arctic regions of Yakutia in 2013. The author establishes the specifics of the social situation in the Yakut Arctic through the prism of public opinion about the quality of social services. Study is based on a quantitative method of sociological analysis. The main indicators for assessing social development are the social services such as leisure, medicine and education. Results of the research emphasize, that measures of the maintenance of the quantity of the Yakut arctic regions population through improving the quality of life are very necessary in the current ethnosocial conditions in the North of Yakutia.
