LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT IN SYSTEM OF INSTITUTES OF THE PUBLIC POWER OF MODERN RUSSIA

Abstract

The article is devoted to research of institute of local self-government in the Russian Federation, to definition of its place and a role in system of institutes of the public authority, to identification of general characteristics of the state and municipal authority, and also their distinctive features. The article presents the analysis of the problems connected, firstly, with legal regulation of differentiation of authorities between public authorities and local self-governments, secondly, with realization by state powers at local level legislation suggestions for improvement in legal regulation of local self-government in the Russian Federation.
