THE PHENOMENON OF IDENTITY. IMAGE AND ESSENCE OF THE PHENOMENON

Abstract

The authors analyze the main approaches and directions in understanding the phenomenon of identity and its shades of meaning in the historical and philosophical context, marked the spiritual, moral, social component of the concept of identity. The specificity of this phenomenon in the Russian social reality is considered in the paper.
