MARX’S CONCEPTION OF THE ESSENCE OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY
Keywords:
k. marx, subject and means of human activity, political activity, civil activity, personal libertiesAbstract
The article deals with defining the essential content of political activity. Basing on Karl Marx’s methodology which showed that the character of every human activity is defined by means which are at the people’s disposal for realizing this very activity rather than by its subject. The author shows that the content of political activity is defined by people’s possibilities to use political power as the only possible means for such an activity. Not everybody but only a limited scope of persons endowed with special powers have such possibilities. So not every social activity in the sphere of politics is considered to be political activity. In political researches, in the process of law-making and especially in law enforcement practice one should distinguish between political activity and civil activity. The latter, according to the author, isn’t based on using power resources as it is in the case of political activity but on realization of personal liberties including civil and political liberties established by law.Downloads
