INTERCIVILIZATIONAL SHOCK OF SOLITUDE IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERNITY

Abstract

There is always a potential of intertemporality in the structure of modernity. In case of one-time and quality changes of structure of society this potential generates the “shock of solitude” which becomes the basis for choosing a life strategy. Solitude has both negative and positive characteristics and can serve as a resource of developing personality, interpersonal and social relations.
