STABILITY INDEX OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND URBAN ENVIRONMENT: POSSIBILITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article describes the results of the research of the third sector of Naberezhnye Chelny as a result of which “stability index of non-profit organizations” was set. It was 4.9 points in 2012 and 4.7 points in 2013. The author held an opinion poll among the managers who estimated possibilities of getting basic training as for managing non-profit organizations is concerned; possibilities of getting grants from local or regional authorities, educational resources on carrying on non-profit business and legal consultations. The author makes a conclusion that urban environment contributes to the development of the third sector.
