THE CATEGORY "POTENTIALITY" IN S.L. FRANK’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The article explicates and analyzes S. L. Frank’s views on nature and essence of potentiality as an ontological and metaphysical category. The notion “potentiality” in S.L. Frank’s philosophy is considered as a constitutive category lying in the basis of universal reality. S. Frank philosophical standpoint is given in the context of Russian religious philosophy of XX century.
