PRESENT-DAY SOCIETY: PROBLEM OF LOSS OF PARADIGM OBJECTIVES

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of how civilization paradigm defines people’s worldview attitudes. The author shows that traditional society founded on transferring basic values and objectives gave people firm key orientations both in ordinary and border-line situations. Present-day market highly technological civilization creates an area of uncertainty in the place of former firm orientations, when there is a great choice which people cannot cope with. The article shows that rational reflection takes less part in this choice than circumstantial factors which more often dominate.
