SCENARIOS OF HOMO SAPIENS AND POSTHUMAN CO-EXISTENCE IN DISCOURSES OF TRANSHUMANISM

Abstract

The object of the article is discourses of transhumanism and the subject is human and posthuman co-existence. The main scenarios of homo sapiens and posthuman co-existence are considered. Transhumanists hardly place greater focus both on dehumanizing scientific power and possible negative consequences of human and posthuman cooperation. Nevertheless, the aspect of possible destructive posthuman attitude towards human needs considering more thoroughly.
