R. COLLINS ABOUT THE COLLAPSE OF THE SOVIET EMPIRE: EDUCATORY CONCLUSIONS

Abstract

The article considers macro-sociological theory of autonomous dynamics of a state by R. Collins explaining the causes of the USSR collapse. The author analyzes the coincidence of the budget crisis, inter-elite conflict and loss of power legitimacy. The author makes conclusions as for applying R. Collins’s conception to modern Russian state.
