MODERN GLOBAL PROCESSES AS A PHILOSOPHIC PROBLEM

Abstract

The article considers the phenomenon of globalization from the perspective of the following philosophic problems: part and whole, one and many, the problem of unity. Responses to the problem of globalization of modern native philosophers (M.K. Mamardashvili, V.V. Bibikhin, A.V. Semushkin) are compared. The author presents A.F. Losev’s conception of the world as the whole. The author makes a conclusion about the necessity and topicality of considering the term “the whole” in connection with its importance for modern global processes.
