THE SCOPE OF THE NOTION "WORKFORCE CAPACITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES": BETWEEN ANTHROPOCENTRISM AND SOCIOCENTRISM

Abstract

The topicality of the subject-matter of the article is defined by contradictions between anthropocentric and sociocentric approaches to understanding workforce capacity. On the basis of synthesis of anthropocentric views about a human’s potential and sociocentric understanding workforce capacity the authors give the definition of the notion “workforce capacity of law enforcement agencies”. The result corresponds to the anthropological model of a human’s potential conception and deepens the understanding of the essence of workforce capacity of law enforcement agencies.
