SOCIAL POLITICAL THEORY OF PROTEST IN FOREIGN SCIENCE

Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the category of “protest” in western social political science. The authors point out the main approaches and interpretations of the notion “protest” in different periods of development of western social political thought. The article considers theoretic approaches directly not using the term “protest”, and also traces evolution of views on the nature of protest, finds out the causes of appearance of different interpretations of the notion.
