HUMANITY AND EDUCATION: DISCOVERY OF HARMONY OR DEEPENING OF THE CONFLICT?

Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the concepts “humanity” and “education” in historical retrospect; singles out the problematic aspects of the use of these concepts in the theory and practice of education, and also in a wide social context. The article analyzes the main models of a personality, and looks at the issues of realization of these models in modern educational practice.
